- Schematic Files: ZIP files containing your design documents (.SchDoc, .PrjPcb, .kicad_sch, .kicad_pro, .bsdl files) uploaded for analysis.

- Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, and general interaction with the service.
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
- IP Address: Used for security and to prevent abuse.

4. Data Retention
4.1 Uploaded Files
Schematic files you upload are deleted within 15 days of upload, or within 30 days if processing stops with an error our support has to resolve. Your analysis report and the files generated with it stay available until you delete them using the link we email you.
4.2 Email Addresses
We retain your email address to provide service notifications. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
4.3 Encrypted Uploads
For encrypted uploads using our private submission option, files remain encrypted at rest. Your decryption key is never stored—it is used only in memory during processing and then discarded.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: Third parties who help us operate the service (hosting, email delivery).
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.

7. Security
7.1 Network exposure
On the internet, the Tomachie server answers only on ports 80 and 443, the website; port 80 only redirects to encrypted HTTPS. Administration uses a private, encrypted VPN (WireGuard) on an undisclosed port that answers only registered keys. SSH and Remote Desktop are closed to the internet, and probes to any other port receive no response.

7.2 Optional pre-encryption: zero human knowledge
You can encrypt your design (AES-256) on your own premises before uploading it, and it then stays encrypted at rest. You supply the key when processing starts; it is held only in memory and never stored. No person at Tomachie, not even an authorized administrator, can decrypt a stored design: doing so would require deliberately writing code to capture your key when you enter it.
7.3 CDA model
Your schematic is provided under the terms of the website CDA or, optionally and at your choice, a CDA you supply. This model is similar to, if arguably more protective than, sharing Gerbers, a BOM and PDF schematics with an EMS.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new \"Last Updated\" date.
