But this is the reality of AI-assisted design analysis today. Sophisticated analysis requires cloud-based AI infrastructure. While air-gapped local solutions may emerge someday, current lightweight LLMs for on-premise processing can't deliver this depth of analysis. Companies blocking cloud-based AI tools risk putting their engineering teams at a competitive disadvantage.
Tōmachie is led by industry veterans with twenty-five years of experience in electronic design automation, JTAG, and boundary scan test — with a long track record of handling confidential technical intellectual property. We will never manufacture a PCB from your design data; it's not our business model. We will never intentionally share your design with a third party. Sharing with AI is done only when you choose to use AI Assist — your design is only kept in the memory of the AI for the session that creates the analysis and is then discarded. Your data is never used for model training, prohibited by our commercial API terms. The default No AI mode uses deterministic analysis with no AI involvement whatsoever.
